To arrive at the best and worst of new car dealers in South Africa,
Topcar team members, acting as "ghost shoppers", evaluated showrooms
nationwide. Each dealership and the dealer was evaluated according to
a set of criteria such as product knowledge and initial impression.
For dealer friendliness and helpfulness Hyundai shamed its competitors
by scoring 92%. 15 percentage points above the national average. Perhaps
offering the "ghost shopper" a glass of orange juice on a hot day was
too much to expect from our competitors. But then that's what separates
us from the rest. That willingness to go that bit further than the competition
proves that the people who sell our cars love them. So why not get down
